JCPenney Denim Wall

My role: Associate Creative Director and Lead Designer for Stores

The client wanted a versatile cost-effective way to communicate denim fits for big and tall customers that could also serve as a destination beacon. I devised a series of free-standing boxes that could be placed on shelves to showcase 5 to 8 fit categories depending on the availability of styles by store. Maximum allowable height limitations, ease of installation, and portability were all considered using a simple flat-packed construction. The system proved so successful that it was adopted for plus and petite departments.
